3) Home field advantage for the other first-round series will be decided tonight (Aug 31, 2009) between Edinburg and Amarillo

4) The results of tonight's Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings - San Angelo Colts game and Coastal Bend Thunder - Laredo Broncos game will determine which team qualifies for the 4th (final) 2009 ULB playoff spot

5) First round will be a Best-Of-3 series.  The 2009 ULB Championship will be a Best-Of-5 series
